Torrance Cultural Services, a Division of Parks & Recreation, strives to create joy
and excitement in the arts. With several performance venues at the Center and throughout the city,
and a variety of groups performing, there is something for everyone. Performing groups include:
- Torrance Theatre Company - a group best known for the adult musical presented at the Armstrong theatre every summer, the completion of the "Stage Two Theatre" now allows a diverse season of small musicals, contemporary works and classic pieces.
- Torrance Youth Theatre - a unique youth program where any child ages 9 to 18 is welcome to join the cast, regardless of experience. Over the last 5 years the Division has produced a dozen full-length musicals in the Armstrong Theatre run by Starlight Productions.

- Torrance Civic Chorale - has provided choral music, musical instruction and cultural arts since 1961. Its 90 auditioned members are under the direction of Conductor David Burks. The Chorale performs two annual concerts as well as regional festivals and city events.
- Regina Klenjoski Dance Company - led by artist in residence, Director Regina Klenjoski, who has instructed and presented artistic programs since 1999. Recognized numerous times for cutting edge achievements in dance performances as well as unwavering dedication to the community through their outreach programs.

- Storybook Ballet - Where a child's imagination is stirred, heightened and thrilled. Features classical ballet variations as well as modern pieces with performances followed by dance workshops for children 3-12 years old.
